Goodnight KiteStock 1 : Antelope Island Stampede Festival 2012 is in the books.Kite Flyers have long been afflicted with a condition that develops immediately following the close of a kite festival. Post Festival Depression is common when kites are taken from the skies and returned to their bags. Departing flyers say their good-byes and tear themselves away from the field. How do you prevent PFD (post-festival-depression)? Kevin Bayless has developed a cure... or at least a way to relieve the symptoms. He has developed a therapy called "KiteStock." The 1st trial/treatment period of "KiteStock" was proven to be Highly Effective in the treatment of PFD. Continued research into the effectiveness of "KiteStock" is scheduled to occur on the three days following Antelope Island Stampede Festival 2013. Kite Flyers who want to take part in the study, please make arrangements to camp on Antelope Island and participate in the post festival flyers therapy session. Photo documentation by: Lori S. Mogul Evening : Should have done this sooner. Got an adapter so I can use my Minolta MD mount lenses on my SONY alpha580!!!! Shot these images this evening just after the sun set. All handheld... all settings the way it should be ~MANUAL ~ manual focus, manual f-stop, & manual shutter speed... =D My Minolta 50mm 1:1.4, MD Rokkor-X in my new-old favorite lens. Lovin' it!!!!

March 2012 Flying : While we were celebrating our anniversary in Bodega Bay, February 2010 ~ John became hooked on kite flying when I bought him a very cool kite. He took it down to the nearest beach and that was that! By March of 2011... I was addicted too! We are extremely lucky to be able to walk out our backdoor to fly.
